Website content
The information on this site, including the Septic Guide articles, is general information about septic systems in Central Florida. It is not engineering, legal, or regulatory advice for your specific property. Septic rules vary by county and change over time; confirm current requirements with your county health department. We work to keep the site accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or current.
Pricing
Prices listed on the site (for example, $350 for a standard septic tank pump-out and $395 for an inspection) are our standard rates for typical residential jobs at the time of publication. Final pricing depends on conditions at the property, such as tank size, access, lid depth, and the amount of solids. We tell you the price before we start work, and any additional cost is explained and agreed to before it is incurred. Repairs, installations, and lift-station work are quoted in writing after a site visit.
Scheduling and emergency service
We answer the phone 24 hours a day and make every effort to arrive at the time we give you. Arrival times are estimates. Emergency and after-hours calls may carry an after-hours rate, which we will tell you when you call.
Access to the property
You are responsible for giving us safe access to the tank and system, including securing pets and identifying any known underground utilities, irrigation lines, or hazards. We locate and uncover tank lids as part of a pump-out; we are not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines or landscaping directly over the tank that must be disturbed to reach the lid.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is completed unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, check, and major cards. Returned checks and unpaid balances may incur fees and collection costs allowed under Florida law.
Warranty
Pump-outs are a maintenance service and carry no warranty on system performance. Repair and installation work is warranted against defects in our workmanship for the period stated on your written quote or invoice. Manufacturer warranties on pumps, aerators, and other parts pass through to you. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, flooding, vehicle traffic over the system, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Martin Septic's liability for any claim arising from our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost use of the property.
